Confetti Gallery.

Terms of service

Last updated

The short version: setting up and collecting photos is free, downloading them costs £25.00 once, photos are deleted 30 days after your event, and guests keep the rights to what they took. The detail is below.

1. About these terms

Confetti Gallery is run by TCG Community Apps Ltd, in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). These terms apply when you create a gallery ("host") or upload photos to one ("guest"). By doing either, you agree to them. How we handle personal data is in our privacy policy.

2. The service

A host creates a gallery for an event and gets a QR code and link. Guests use it to upload photos from their phone, with no account. Setting up a gallery and collecting photos is free. Photos are kept until 30 days after the event date, then permanently deleted.

3. Your account

  • You must be 18 or over to create a gallery or pay for one.
  • Give us an email address you can be reached at, and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
  • You decide who gets your gallery link. Anyone you give it to can upload, and anyone who has uploaded from a device can view the gallery from it.

4. Payment

Downloading every full-resolution original, and turning on a public highlights gallery, costs £25.00 per gallery, paid once by card through Stripe. There's no subscription and no recurring charge. Prices include any VAT that applies.

If 5 other hosts sign up with your referral code and unlock their own galleries, yours is unlocked for free.

5. Refunds and problems

Once you've paid, your download is available straight away, so you agree that it starts immediately and the usual 14-day cancellation period for digital content ends when it does. That doesn't affect your statutory rights.

If the service doesn't work as it should — the download fails, photos are missing, something is broken — email info@tcgcommunityapps.com and we'll fix it, or refund you if we can't.

6. What can be uploaded

By uploading a photo, you confirm that you took it or have the right to share it, and that it isn't:

  • illegal, including any sexual image of a child;
  • sexually explicit, or an intimate image of someone without their consent;
  • harassing, threatening or hateful towards anyone;
  • infringing someone else's copyright or privacy.

We may remove content that breaks these rules, and close a gallery used to share it. We report illegal content to the relevant authorities. To report something, email info@tcgcommunityapps.com with the gallery link.

7. Who owns the photos

Guests keep the copyright in the photos they take. By uploading, a guest lets us store the photo and show it to the host and the gallery's other contributors, and lets the host download and keep it. We don't take any other rights: we don't license, sell or publish photos, or use them to train AI models. If a host writes us a testimonial and chooses a photo to go with it, they give us permission to show that one photo on our website until they ask us to remove it.

8. Deletion

Photos are permanently deleted 30 days after the event date and can't be recovered afterwards — download anything you want to keep before then. If you need longer, email us before the deadline. You can ask us to delete your account and gallery at any time.

9. Our responsibility to you

We work hard to keep the service running and your photos safe, but we can't promise it will never be unavailable. We're not a backup service: keep your own copy of anything that matters to you.

If we fail to meet these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result, up to the amount you paid us. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

10. Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and changes won't apply to a payment you've already made. You can stop using the service at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If something goes wrong, please email us first — we'd much rather sort it out directly.
