Confetti Gallery.

About us

We built this because we lost half our own.

Confetti Gallery is made and run by two people in the UK. No investors, no growth team, no ads. Here's who we are and how this works — including the parts we haven't finished.

How it started

A wedding, and about four hundred photos we never saw

We got married, and like everyone else we hired a photographer, and like everyone else we were delighted with what they produced. The ceremony, the confetti, the speeches, the first dance. All of it beautiful, all of it exactly what we'd paid for.

And then, over the following weeks, photos started reaching us in dribs and drabs from guests — and they were the ones that floored us. Grandad crying before we'd said a word, caught from somewhere near the back. The ushers laughing at something during the vows. The dance floor at half past midnight from inside the middle of it. None of these were in the professional set, because no single person can be in four places at once.

The problem was that getting them was miserable. We spent months chasing photos across group chats, texts and three different shared albums, and we're certain we never saw half of them. The ones that did arrive came through compressed to a fraction of their original size.

That's the specific loss this exists to prevent. Not a better photo album — a way of asking eighty people for their photos once, at the moment they're holding their phone, with nothing to install and nothing to remember later.

So we built the thing we wish we'd had that day, and put it live in 2026. It's still just the two of us: we write the code, we answer the emails, and we run every part of it ourselves.

The team

It's the two of us

There is no support department. When you email us, one of these two people reads it.

George

Co-founder — product & engineering

Builds and runs Confetti Gallery end to end: the upload flow, the storage, the payments and the nightly deletion job. Wrote every line of the codebase.

Charlotte

Co-founder — design & host experience

Shapes what hosts and guests actually see, from the wording on the QR card to the gallery layout. Runs the support inbox.

How we think about it

Four things we've decided

The guest photos are the point

Every product in this space treats guest photos as a bonus feature bolted onto something else. We think they're the main event — the only record of the parts of your day nobody was hired to stand in front of. Everything here is built around getting them off eighty phones and into one place.

Friction is the whole problem

The reason you don't have your guests' photos isn't that they didn't want to send them. It's that every route required an app, an account or an act of memory three weeks later. We measure ourselves on how few steps a guest takes, not on how many features we ship.

Deleting things is a feature

Photos are permanently deleted 30 days after your event. We could keep them forever and charge you storage, and it would be better business. We'd rather not be sitting on an archive of other people's weddings and children.

One price, paid once

£25.00 per gallery, once. No subscription, no card kept on file, no per-photo charge, no tier where the good version costs more. If you never run another event you'll never hear from our billing again.

Being straight with you

What we haven't built yet

Most companies put this list in a support article nobody finds until they need it. We'd rather you knew before you signed up — particularly if one of these is a dealbreaker for your event.

  • Video uploads — the most-requested thing we don't do.
  • A self-serve password reset. Email us and we'll get you back in, but it should be a link and it isn't yet.
  • A delete button on individual photos in your dashboard. Right now removing one means emailing us.
  • More than one gallery per account. A second event currently means a second signup.
  • White-labelling or custom domains for corporate events.

Get in touch

Ask us anything before you commit

Whether it's a question about your specific venue, a worry about older guests managing it, or something you need for a work event that we don't currently do — write to us. We'd far rather talk you out of it than take £25.00 for something that won't suit your day.
